We got it from our Mamas!
You may have noticed that 39th and Spruce was unusually elegant last weekend, and that's because SK Moms were in town for the First Annual Sigma Kappa Mom's Weekend. President Sophia and Membership Chair Sarah put together the most incredible weekend with the greatest ladies we know. It started with a chapter wide mother-daughter event at Duel Piano Bar in Center City on Friday, where our moms got down to the oldies. On Saturday, we had pledge class dinners and met up for a "Mom Mixer" afterwards at house off-campus. We finished off the weekend with brunch at the house on Sunday, where we all got great shirts to commemorate the weekend. Overall, it was a phenomenal weekend and a great success, and we can't wait for next year!

SK Summer Stories
Sigma Kappas were busy this summer. Between traveling to great places, working awesome jobs and internships, and generally enjoying every minute of the last few months, Kappa Iotas were everywhere. Here's what some of us have been up to:
A big group of SKs (alums and current students alike) met up in NYC at Brother Jimmy's |
Nicole Pollack went to Pai, Thailand and made a new friend with Ellie the elephant. |
Tara Hofbauer (far left) spent five weeks in London through Penn Summer Abroad, studying British theater and Jane Austen. |
