Sister of the Week: Margo Slaff

This week's Sister of the Week is Margo Slaff, SK's Executive Vice President. She's a junior Physics major from Santa Barbara, CA with a concentration in Business and Technology. In SK, she's also held the positions of co-Philanthropy chair, Vice President of Scholarship, and she's a member the SPF (Super Pale and Fine) lineage, though she says they let her in despite her California girl tan. Outside of SK, she is a tour guide with Kite and Key, the business manager of the stand-up comedy group Simply Chaos, and a babysitter for two local families.

(1) So what's your favorite duty as Vice President?
I love everything about working with our amazing executive council on everything SK!

(2) What's the most challenging part of your job?
The most challenging aspect is balancing the different goals and opinions of all 180 girls in the chapter.

(3) You're involved with Simply Chaos. Tell us a joke?
I'm just the business manager. I don't tell jokes!

(4) We hear you're really close with your lineage. What is one of your favorite memories with them?
For reveal this year, my big big big and big big came back from their real lives to help us celebrate our littlest! It was great getting six generations of the lin together again!

(5) What are your plans for the summer?
This summer, I'll be working as an intern at an engineering firm in Los Angeles and enjoying being back in sunny California!

(6) What would you say makes you a Sigma Kappa?
I love how I can be a nerd, a beach bum, a girlie girl (I love getting my nails done at the Nail Bar!) and VP of SK all in one and still somehow perfectly fit into this amazing group of girls!
